Online Safety
Online Safety Parent Workshop 2026
Thank you to Charlotte, one of our Tardebigge parents, for presenting at the Parent Workshop this morning. It was really informative and we hope parents can use the information shared about smartphones and their dangers to guide their decision-making in the future. Parents - thank you for taking the time out of your busy days to attend this really important workshop. Further information and links will be shared via email this week.
We follow the SMART rules to keep us safe online.
Safe- Keep personal information safe.
Meeting- People we talk to online are strangers. You must never meet people you talk to online.
Accepting-You must ask permission from an adult/parent before accepting emails, downloads etc.
Reliable- Not everything you read online is true. You cannot always trust everything you read and see on the Internet.
Tell- Always tell an adult if you see anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or upset.
